Necklace length is measured from end to end, including the clasp. Use the chart below as a guide to where different lengths may sit. Actual placement can vary with neck size, height, body proportions, and pendant design.

Measure a necklace you already own

Lay the necklace flat and straight on a level surface. Measure it from one end to the other, including the clasp.

Or measure on your body

Use a flexible measuring tape or piece of string and position it around your neck where you would like the necklace to sit. Mark the meeting point, then measure the length against a ruler if using string.

To help maintain the finish of your jewelry, keep it away from prolonged moisture, perfume, lotions and household chemicals. Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store separately in a cool, dry place. For unplated sterling silver options, a silver polishing cloth may be used occasionally to refresh the shine. For gold-plated options, a silver polishing cloth is not recommended, as it may gradually wear the plated finish.

    The two-tone rice bead chain has more personality in person than it does in the product grid. The gold details are small, so it still mixes easily with silver jewelry.

    The cable chain is definitely the lightest option I tried. It is good for a tiny pendant, but I would choose one of the bead chains if you want something with more presence.
