How to Measure Your Ring Size

Measure a Ring You Own

Choose a ring that fits the finger you plan to wear your H&Aquarius ring on. Measure the inside diameter straight across from inner edge to inner edge, in millimeters. Compare your measurement with the chart above.

Measure Your Finger

Wrap a thin strip of paper snugly around the base of your finger. Mark where the paper overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters. This is your finger circumference; match it to the closest circumference in the chart.

Fit Tips

Measure at the end of the day. Fingers naturally change size throughout the day and with temperature.

Measure the finger you plan to wear the ring on. The same finger can differ slightly between your left and right hands.

Your ring should feel secure, not tight. It should slide over your knuckle with slight resistance.

Wider bands can feel snugger. If you are between sizes, choose the larger option.

Keep dry where practical and remove before showering, swimming or exercising. Avoid perfume, lotions, household chemicals, hard knocks and pressure on the stone settings. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store separately. Avoid abrasive polishing on the rhodium-plated finish. If a stone feels loose, stop wearing the ring until it has been inspected. I bought the Laurel Crest Ring because I wanted something with more personality than my usual basics. The cubic zirconia changes more with movement than I expected, which makes the real piece feel livelier. The cool silver finish looks a little softer in daylight than it does under warm indoor lighting.
