How to Measure Your Ring Size

Measure a Ring You Own

Choose a ring that fits the finger you plan to wear your H&Aquarius ring on. Measure the inside diameter straight across from inner edge to inner edge, in millimeters. Compare your measurement with the chart above.

Measure Your Finger

Wrap a thin strip of paper snugly around the base of your finger. Mark where the paper overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters. This is your finger circumference; match it to the closest circumference in the chart.

Fit Tips

Measure at the end of the day. Fingers naturally change size throughout the day and with temperature.

Measure the finger you plan to wear the ring on. The same finger can differ slightly between your left and right hands.

Your ring should feel secure, not tight. It should slide over your knuckle with slight resistance.

Wider bands can feel snugger. If you are between sizes, choose the larger option.

To help preserve the 18K gold-plated sterling silver finish and the ring’s stone-set buckle details, keep the piece dry where practical and away from perfume, lotions, household chemicals and abrasive products. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store separately. Avoid strong impact or pressure on the buckle frame and cubic zirconia settings, and if a stone feels loose, pause wear until the setting can be checked. A silver polishing cloth is not recommended on gold-plated jewelry because it may gradually wear the plated finish.

This was one of those pieces that made more sense to me once I saw the real-life proportions. The 6.4 mm band is noticeable between the fingers, especially compared with the very thin rings I usually wear. I keep reaching for this one.

The brushed finish is more noticeable in person than it was on my screen. The brushed surface gives the piece more texture than the product grid initially suggests.

It stacks better with a very plain band than with another statement ring. The gold-plated finish looks a little softer in daylight than it does under warm indoor lighting.
